JULY 2026 IS OUR MONTH OF FOCUS ON CHRIST TO MAKE GREAT IMPACT AND EXPERIENCE DIVINE INTERVENTION Bible References: Exodus 1:12; Daniel 3:25; Acts 3:6–7 As we step into the glorious month of July 2026, we lift our hearts in thanksgiving to the Almighty God for His unfailing love, mercy, and faithfulness. Every new month is a fresh opportunity to walk in God's purpose, and this month, the Lord is calling us to fix our eyes upon Jesus Christ, the Author and Finisher of our faith. Our July theme as has declared by our Archbishop M.B. Idahosa; is: "Focus on Christ to Make Great Impact and Experience Divine Intervention." In a world filled with distractions, uncertainty, economic hardship, and spiritual battles, the greatest secret to victory is maintaining an unwavering focus on Christ. When our attention is fixed on Jesus, fear gives way to faith, confusion is replaced with divine direction, and impossibilities become opportunities for God to reveal His power. The Bible declares in Exodus 1:12, "But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew." This remarkable scripture reminds us that God's people cannot be destroyed by opposition. Instead, every challenge becomes a platform for divine increase. The Israelites experienced oppression, yet God's blessing upon their lives caused them to flourish beyond human expectation. This same God is still at work today. Perhaps you have faced rejection, disappointment, financial struggles, delayed answers to prayer, or fierce opposition. Be encouraged! Your present situation does not determine your future. As you remain focused on Christ, every attempt of the enemy to hinder your progress shall become a stepping stone to greater testimony. What was designed to weaken you will, by God's grace, strengthen your faith and expand your influence. Daniel 3 gives us another powerful picture of divine intervention. Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to compromise their faith even when threatened with the fiery furnace. Their focus remained on God rather than on fear. When King Nebuchadnezzar looked into the furnace, he exclaimed in Daniel 3:25, "Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire... and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God." What an encouraging revelation! God did not prevent them from entering the fire, but He joined them in the fire. His presence transformed a place of destruction into a place of divine manifestation. Likewise, if you are passing through your own fiery furnace today, remember that Christ is with you. His presence is greater than every challenge. He is able to preserve, strengthen, comfort, and deliver all who trust in Him. The fire could not consume them because the Lord was present. In the same way, every believer who keeps Christ at the center of life can find hope and courage even in difficult seasons. God is still able to intervene in ways that bring glory to His name. The story in Acts 3:6–7 demonstrates the transforming power of faith in the name of Jesus Christ. Peter declared to the lame man, "Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk." Immediately, strength entered the man's feet and ankles, and he walked, leaped, and praised God. This miracle teaches us that lasting transformation comes through Christ. The name of Jesus still brings hope to the hopeless, strength to the weak, peace to the troubled, and encouragement to those who are discouraged. As we walk with Him, we can trust Him to guide our steps and provide what we need according to His will. This month, let your focus move away from fear and toward faith. Do not allow negative news, temporary setbacks, or human limitations to define your future. *Spend quality time in prayer. *Study God's Word daily. *Worship with sincerity, and *Remain steadfast in obedience. As your relationship with Christ grows stronger, your life will increasingly reflect His wisdom, love, and power. Focus produces impact. When your heart is centered on Christ, your family becomes stronger, your character reflects His nature, your work becomes more meaningful, and your testimony inspires others. God desires His children to be lights in a dark world, demonstrating His compassion, integrity, excellence, and faithfulness wherever they go. As your pastor, I encourage every member, friend, and partner to remain steadfast throughout this month. *Refuse discouragement. *Refuse compromise. "Refuse to surrender to fear. *Keep your eyes on Jesus, and *Trust Him in every circumstance. The God who multiplied Israel, walked with His servants in the fire, and lifted the lame man through the power of Jesus Christ is still faithful today. May this month become a season of renewed faith, divine wisdom, spiritual growth, open doors, supernatural favour, restored hope, and testimonies that glorify God in Jesus name, amen. May the Lord strengthen your hands for every good work, establish your steps according to His purpose, and fill your heart with His perfect peace in Jesus name, amen. As you focus on Christ, may your life become a channel of blessing and a testimony of His grace in Jesus name, amen. Say this Prayer with me: Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing me into the month of July 2026. Help me to keep my eyes fixed on Jesus in every situation. Strengthen my faith, grant me wisdom, and lead me by Your Holy Spirit. Let Your presence go with me through every challenge, and let my life brings glory to your name.
